LA QUE SOY (The One I Am) is a solo exhibition exploring the artist’s past selves—childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, and the present—as an ever-evolving continuum. Through deeply personal work, the exhibition honors each version as vital and enduring, embracing growth, memory, and transformation. Rooted in reflection and self-reclamation, LA QUE SOY becomes a space where the past is not left behind, but carried forward. Shaping a future the artist is actively becoming.
LA QUE SOY es una exposición individual que explora el pasado del artista (infancia, adolescencia, adultez temprana y presente) como un continuo en constante evolución. A través de un trabajo profundamente personal, la exposición honra cada versión como vital y duradera, abarcando el crecimiento, la memoria y la transformación. Arraigada en la reflexión y la autoreclamación, LA QUE SOY se convierte en un espacio donde el pasado no se deja atrás, sino que se lleva adelante. Dando forma a un futuro en el que el artista se está convirtiendo activamente.
The Artist
Grechel Rosado
Grechel Rosado is a Puerto Rico-born printmaker, illustrator, and artist-educator whose work, rooted in cultural identity and lived experiences, expands printmaking through interdisciplinary experimentation and boundary-blurring practices.

Maker's Workshop
What We Carry / Lo Que Cargamos
Inspired by the themes of LA QUE SOY, this workshop invites participants to engage in a layered process of print and personal expression. Participants will pull screenprints from three pre-designed stencils created by the artist, then build upon them through drawing, collage, and mixed-media interventions.
These compositions serve as a starting point for exploring the objects, memories, and inherited stories we carry—physically, spiritually, emotionally, and culturally—encouraging each participant to create a work that reflects their evolving sense of self.
• Participant size: 15 max at a time but open to do drop by
• All ages welcome. No prior experience necessary.
• OUTDOORS, weather permitting!
I will bring my screenprinting cart, set it up outside in the adjacent area by the entrance, and have tables set up for individuals to sit and create after they have pulled their prints.
