Event Advisory: Advocacy is Love

Advocacy is Love: Third Annual Art Fundraiser Returns March 20, 6-9 PM

For Immediate Release

Providence, RI – The Womxn Project Education Fund (TWPEF) is preparing to host its 3rd Annual “Advocacy is Love” Postcard-Sized Exhibition & Fundraiser.

Date: Friday, March 20, 2026
Time: 6:00–9:00 PM
Location: The Guild Brewery’s Barn, Pawtucket, RI

The one-night event brings together artists, advocates, and community members to support TWPEF’s work advancing bodily freedom and civil rights through creative, community-based advocacy. Over 400 artists donate postcard-sized original works, signed only on the back. Every postcard—whether made by an established or emerging artist—is sold for one $40 Art Ticket, and Art Tickets are pulled randomly from a bucket to determine who gets to choose next, creating an equitable, accessible way for everyone to take part.

“AIL is our biggest annual event,” said Jocelyn Foye, Executive Director TWPEF, “it brings together the best of our organization. The community, the artists, the activists, and supporters from all across the region connect over art and bodily freedom. AIL reminds us that fighting for bodily freedom is an act of care. Each small artwork is a powerful message that we can create change together.”

All proceeds from the event go towards programming at TWPEF’s new headquarters and creative organizing hub, the A|R|T Lab. “We have exciting stuff in the works- free art activism classes, civic education events, coalition meetings,” noted Jenn King, Director of Development “I’m pumped by how many people want to see the building and how much buzz is building around our events.”
