As a volunteer-run organization, The Womxn Project's programs could not take place without our volunteers. Whether you're looking to lead a march, or assist with behind-the-scenes tasks, we have a place for you!
Ways to Get Involved
Advocacy is an ongoing effort, therefore, volunteer services are needed throughout the year. We offer many types of volunteer opportunities, allowing you to join us for a one-time event, or a weekly commitment.
Our volunteer coordinators will ensure you get involved with the types of activism that best suit your interests, availability, and comfort level. Everyone is welcome!
Public Volunteers
- Participate or lead public art spectacles
- March with us at a protest
- Create group artivism projects
- Work the TWP table at events (such as Pride)
- Comment at a school/town committee meeting
- Door knocking for our causes
- Co-host a meetup
- And many more!
Private Volunteers
- Research candidates for the BFFI from home
- Use your graphic design skills to create flyers, posters and merchandise
- Coordinate behind-the-scenes logistics for events
- Donate legal, tech, event planning or other skills
- Donations of any special skills are welcome!
