#VoteBFF is a creative campaign that focuses on the values that are integral to all people's right to live with dignity in a democratic society.
This past election year brought us and our loved ones tension, anxiety and so many other hard feelings. We kicking off 2024 Pride Month with a call to action to Vote for Bodily Freedom Forever (#Vote4BFF) and we won't stop even with the election being over.
Bodily freedom, or bodily autonomy, is at the core of for communities that are built on dignity, safety, and freedom for all of us. We all deserve the right to an authentic, dignified existence that aligns with our identities, values, and beliefs. Bodily freedom is about safely making choices for ourselves that align with those core parts of ourselves without fear of judgment or harassment. It's our priority to ensure everyone enjoys that freedom in their everyday lives forever!
From June 1st through the end of the year, come find our table at a community event near you, learn how to evaluate elected officials using our report cards, and join us in a series of fun events to collectively push for equality on the 2024 ballot!

Elected officials are in positions of power which allow them to make decisions on our behalf every day.
The Womxn Project created the Bodily Freedom Forever Index as a way to see how anyone running for town, city or state elected positions in Rhode Island would defend and advocate for bodily freedom, for all of their constituents. We see this method of reporting as creating a more transparent government as well as accountability for who and where our advocates are.
We learned a lot from collecting and reporting this data for the 2024 Election and intend to expand our research and survey anyone occupying a seat of power, even if they are for elected vo office right now. In the meantime, we will be reporting weekly on interesting information we have learned and welcome you to join us as we organize in each district.

Join us in lifting up the importance of bodily freedom forever and calling out the hate like efforts to obstruct gender affirming care and youth protections in schools.
Advocacy Actions
This multi-lecture series includes community conversations, a yard sign art intervention across the state, and networking at the municipal level, all in the name of standing up to hate while supporting our LGBTQ+ Community.
